Mr. Gev Bhabra Bsc(Hons) MBChB MD FRCS (Tr & Orth)
I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and management of shoulder and elbow disorders. My main NHS practice is at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. This is a busy major trauma centre, where I receive referrals from GPs as well as “tertiary” referrals from other orthopaedic units in the region. I see private patients at the Nuffield hospital in Leamington Spa, The BMI hospital in Coventry and the Ramsay Horton treatment centre in North Oxfordshire.
I graduated from the University of Bristol medical school before completing my orthopaedic surgery training in London, based at Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals. I then undertook specialist international fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery in Perth, Australia. On my return to the UK I completed a second prestigious shoulder and elbow fellowship in Coventry, before commencing my consultant post.
